One of the Best Watches We All Missed

FP Journe released their Octa Quantième Perpétuel but it did not receive the reception is should have. This watch is the first digital perpetual calendar featuring jumping day, date and month indication made by any watch company but not enough people sang its praise.

This was a huge release for a few reasons. It came from a very influential brand that has received great reception from the watch community. It also is a very desired complication and was extremely innovative with its new movement. It is also simply a beautiful watch that really catches ones eye and is extremely competitive when compared to other perpetual calendars.

With just about anything, time and care (and unfortunately money) needs to be placed on the release of something so important. Because it is so beautiful, it will of course catch the eye of consumers, but the way the release happens is extremely important to the success of the watch. It was a strange miss by the watch community, but now we have no excuse!
