Microbrands are a niche community within watch collecting. These watches are direct representations of their CEO’s past and a vision of what they think watches should be. Max Busser and Friends (MB&F) is a microbrand founded by Max Busser in 2005. He has created watches with the help of his friends in the watch community that remind him of his childhood that pay homage to the artisans of the 18th century. He has two distinct lines; the Horological Machines and the Legacy Machines. He describes all his machines as kinetic art and we couldn’t agree more. MB&F’s slogan, “A creative adult is a child that survived” brings together the “tribe” of individuals who love what Max Busser has created.
