Watches Found in the Delta Sky Lounge, May 2019 - Rolex, Panarei

April was a very lackluster month for the watch spotting I did in the delta sky lounge. Obviously the watch overlords were looking down on me because May was a fantastic month! There were three watches that really stood out for me that I saw on peoples wrists while travel this past month.

The first was a stainless steel Rolex Datejust 1601 with a stainless steel bezel. Its a simple watch but its exactly what the gentlemen wearing it wanted. He said it was versatile enough to work when he was at the office, but fun enough that he enjoyed wearing it out. It was his ultimate travel companion.

The second was a Panarei PAM574 that was on the wrist of a lady! It was so great to speak with her as she was slowly getting into the hobby that her husband had. It was a Christmas gift to her from her husband last year. It had the green strap which I was not hugely a fan of but she enjoyed it and that is all that matters.

The last was a Rolex Datejust with a Thunderbird bezel which really caught my eye. I was leaving the lounge so I did not have time to stop and ask the gentlemen about his watch but it was a sight to behold. Definitely unique and is a huge presence on anyone’s wrist.
