Seiko is a brand that almost all collectors have huge amounts of respect for. They are easily some of the best value that you can buy on the current market. Seiko watches are built well, allow for one to get exposed to mechanical watches and still remain stylish and versatile to wear.

Many people, including us at Life on the Wrist, frequently recommend the Seiko SKX007 as a great entry level watch. Because we want to practice what we preach, here is the first Seiko watch I ever received.

The watch is a Limited Edition World Cup 2002 Seiko Chronograph that was gifted to my father early in his career when he was in Japan. My parents passed the watch down to me to mark my graduation from University. Not only does it remind me of the success of my parents, it also marks a very special occasion in my life.
