A Vintage Longines Mainliner - The Coolest Case Shape You'll Find
We have always taken the stance that Longines, in particular their vintage models, present a unique niche in the watch market of great value. Vintage Longines watches rival the diversity of vintage Omega, in that there are so many different kinds of models one can choose from. We recently sourced a very unique and rare Longines Mainliner from the 1940’s that really embodies their unique design language. This watch features this very interesting caged case that makes it something you will not see on everyone’s wrist. The cage obviously reminds one of train tracks, hence its name. This particular Mainliner comes with a fluted bezel, which is a rare occurrence in the limited production of this watch. Most of the Longines Mainliners do not have this type of bezel, which gives the watch a sort of casual feel to it, but still allows it be seen as something one could wear at formal occasions.
Enjoy!
