It is always super exciting when watch brands have the opportunity to showcase what they have been working on for the last year. It gets you excited about new releases and often gives you perspective on the direction of specific brands.

Geneva Watch Days has begun and participating brands are able to showcase the watches they have released this year, but also are able to show new pieces to add to their 2021 journey. The event is being held from August 30th to September 3rd, and boy are there some incredible pieces that were released. As always, Life on the Wrist will be covering the releases from some of the brands, and why not kick it off with Audemars Piguet.

AP released a whole new line up of Royal Oak Offshores this year. They had originally released five new 43mm versions of the Offshores back in March, but are now are releasing a group of five 42mm Offshores for all of us watch enthusiasts to enjoy. The watches are all flyback chronographs that run on the in-house AP movement 4404 caliber in the 42mm versions, and the 4401 caliber in the 43mm versions.

The line up of Offshores range in dial finishing, case metals and dial colours. The 42mm Offshores comes in 18k pink gold with a blue dial, steel with a blue dial, steel with a light blue dial, titanium with a grey dial and titanium with a green dial. The 43mm Offshores that were released earlier this year come in a steel case, black ceramic bezel and light brown dial, steel with a grey ceramic bezel, steel with a black dial and black ceramic bezel, in a pink gold case and a titanium case.
