Results From Christie's Rare Watch Auction, Patek Philippe, Rolex, Jaeger LeCoultre
Christie’s Rare Watch Auction was a spectacle and a half a few weeks ago. There were some very cool lots that fetch incredible prices. It was nice that this auction took place around the same time as Phillip’s Geneva Watch Auction because it showed the comparison between two exceptional watch auction houses. There were certainly some interesting lots to speak about. We were very excited to see a Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox being auction off. There was also an exceptionally rare Patek Philippe 1518 in Pink Gold which is coveted by many collectors as one of the best watches ever produced. There was even a 6062 from Rolex that drew a ton of eyes. Here are our thoughts on the very cool watches that sold. Congratulations to Christie’s for a great auction!
