Why The New Rolex Watches Are So Expensive Right Now

Well 2020 certainly caused a stir for Rolex Collectors. Rolex released a bunch of new watches this year that really were a big update to their major lines of watches. Included in the batch of updated Rolex watches was a new Submariner movement and case design which seems to be fairly well taken by Rolex collectors. Also included were a batch of Oyster Perpetuals with really bright dials including a Tiffany blue, green and even pink. But, these watches are so hard to find. Dealers are having trouble getting their hands on them and they are selling for 2, even 3 times retail price right now. But what is causing the massive spike in prices? Low supply, mainly, but also the way Rolex sells their luxury watches has a big part to play.
