Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar China Limited Edition
Audemars Piguet recently released a limited edition Royal Oak especially for the Chinese market. It definitely is Audemars Piguet’s way of acknowledging how much of a heavy hitter the Asian markets, China specifically, is to Swiss watch exports and Audemars Piguet sales.
The watch is a limited edition perpetual calendar in a full titanium case and bracelet - the first fully titanium watch Audemars Piguet has created. The watch weighs 104 grams and features red accents on the week indicator and an additional rubber strap. It measures 41mm in diameter and features a slate grey dial that seems to be extremely popular over the last few years. The watch also has a 20 meter water resistance.
The watch runs on the AP caliber 5134 which powers the hours, minutes, perpetual calendar, week indicator and moonphase. The Royal Oak is an obvious favourite by watch collectors and the complication is truly desired for its rarity and usual high prices.
The watch is limited to 88 pieces and can only be bought at Audemars Piguet boutiques located in mainland China. The watch retails for $78,300.
Enjoy!
