The Best Holy Trinity Watch Collection - Reacting to Work, Rest and Play with Vacheron Constantin | MR PORTER

A three piece watch collection is such an interesting thing. There are some watch enthusiasts who are fine having just one watch. Others find themselves needing as many as they can get their hands on because they just love so many different watches. But, a three piece luxury watch collection can often times be a watch collectors goal. Mr Porter released another Work, Rest and Play collection - this time with three watches from holy trinity member, Vacheron Constantin. We took a look at Mr Porters video of the Jaeger LeCoultre Work Rest and Play collection previously and were really impressed with what they put together.

Their everyday watch is the Vacheron Constantin FiftySix Automatic. This watch reminds one of the Omega Seamaster or Rolex Submariner but incorporates very levels of finishing to the case, dial and movement. Personally, it is one of the best everyday watches on the market and has a beautiful dial to match. The Overseas chronograph is their down time watch. This sporty alternative to the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak or the Patek Philippe Nautilus is a great combination of style and incredible watchmaking. It does wear a bit larger than other watches, buy the shape of the case really fits the wrist nicely. The last watch, the Patrimony Hand-Wound is a personal favourite. It is one of the watches that made me fall in love with Vacheron Constantin (along with the Toledo). It is a simple, manual wound dress watch. The white gold case and stark white dial is so understated, it makes the watch hard to not love because of its versatility. A great three pieces collection and one worth enjoying.
