One of the coolest things a watch brand can do is partner with charitable causes in order to make a change in the world. Hublot partnered with Save Our Rhino Africa India (SORAI) which was founded by Kevin Pietersen with goals of “raising awareness, and supporting on-the-ground organisations”. One and a half years later, Hublot has released a limited edition Big Bang to raise money for the conservation and preservation of the Rhinos.

The watch is a 45mm Big Bang Unico that has a green ceramic case. The watch features a 60-minute flyback chronograph and runs on the Hublot caliber MHUB1242. The watch itself takes a lot of its design aesthetics and colour choice from the green landscapes of Africa. The watch comes with a Camo rubber and a green fabric strap which can be very easily remove and switched out by the wearer. The dial of the watch is skeletonized and has some very nice green finishing to it. The watch is limited to 100 pieces that are selling for $24,100. The main part? A large portion of the proceeds of these 100 watches will be donated to the Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary and Orphanage, which was founded in 2001. This is a great initiative by a luxury brand to continue to find ways of making a positive impact on the world. To follow suit, all revenue generated by our video for this article (which can be found below), will be donated to Care for Wild to hopefully make an continued impact in the preservation of this great species.

Enjoy!
