The Life of the Watch
Dress watches are beautiful in their simplicity. There are certain times where you want to take off the heavy, complicated wrist watches and put on a simple, time only piece. This Longines is everything you need in a dress watch. It is light, thin and easy to read.
As stated in the other listing, this watch is in fact a twin, that was purchased in 1960. A gift from his mother, the gentleman owned one and his brother owned the other. This specific watch was worn by a gentleman in New Jersey ever since he was gifted it from his mother. His brother passed, and so he then took care of both watches. It was then part of his estate which was sold to a collector. It has beautiful dauphin hands to match the hour markers and aged lume dots that are in incredible condition. The original dial is as clean as it was when it was sold. It also comes with the original box and purchase receipt from 1960 which is in great condition too. The descriptions are basically identical, because like I said, these watches are truly twins!
