Breitling Will Not Be Attending Baselworld 2020

This past year was a big shock for Baselworld as many companies were not in attendance. In total, there were approximately 500 watch companies that attended the show. In the past, there were close to 1000 companies that used to attend. In about mid-April Breitling announced they will not be attending Baselworld in 2020. They will instead be holding a Breitling Summit. The CEO of Breitling, Georges Kern, stated that it was not due to them losing faith in Baselworld. In fact, he had nothing but praise to say about Breitlings experience in 2019 and the new experience driven direction Baselworld was headed under the new management. SIHH and Baselworld has attempted to coordinate the dates of their fairs and decided that Baselworld in 2020 would take place in May - almost two months later than this past year. It was an interesting move, but they hope to have between 600 and 700 companies attend.

Enjoy!
